Disclaimer
Sep 16th, 2009 by Sally
I am happy to discuss any questions about your pregnancy or new baby – I will do my best to answer them clearly (or pass them to a colleague) but this is not a consultation and, since I can neither see or examine, my advice may often have to include seeing your specialists. I cannot be held responsible for anyone not getting necessary pregnancy care and accept no liability as this is not intended to act as a consultation site – neither is a blog site a suitable substitute for routine antenatal care although I hope it will be helpful as I am able to add more information.
Now for legal reasons: this is the disclaimer bit.
This site is intended to be a chat room with access to myself and my colleagues on a completely informal basis and we can accept no responsibility for failure to obtain maternity care and should not be regarded as any more than non-diagnostic conversation with people who have worked in the Maternity field for many years.
The information (including advice and recommendations) and services on the site are intended solely as a support network and may come from trained Health Professionals or from other blog users with experience but no health qualifications.
Always seek the advice of your own doctor or Midwife with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition and prior to starting any new treatment.
Nothing contained in this site is intended to be used for medical diagnosis or treatment.
We assume no responsibility for any consequence relating directly or indirectly to any action or inaction you take based on the information, services or other material on this site.
The site will endeavour to give up to date information where possible.
